If the local council has adopted your road, which is standard practice once developers leave site, you may find that you can park your van on the street outside your house, even if you can't park it within its boundary. Ridiculous but true. You can find out the answer to this from your local council (the one that deals with highways). Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I live on an estate of flats in which the freehold is run by a company owned equally by each leasehold owner. We have covenants banning running businesses, parking commercial vehicles & hanging out washing.
We chose not to enforce the washing covenant, treat commercial vehicles as cars and asked that anyone who was planning on running a business to not openly advertise the fact.Never Knowingly Understood.
