Best bank account for foreign income

Hi,

I live and bank in the UK, but I've just started a new job for a foreign employer who pays in US dollars. I have two accounts in the UK at the moment (Lloyds & Nationwide), my salary in currently paid into my Lloyds account but I get hammered on the exchange rate each month, sometimes loosing up to a couple of hundred quid.
I'm just wondering if someone can suggest any better bank accounts UK of international, where I wouldn't loose out on the exchange rate so much.

Cheers

Citibank plc offer a US dollar current account with no monthly fee, and no charge for paying dollars into it. If you also open a GBP account with them, you can make transfers dollar to GBP on-line, and at a reasonable exchange rate.
