The Sun £9.50 holidays - anymore this year?

could anybody tell me how the priority list works? only been on the mail deals before. thanks in advance

The begging list for these priority codes get far too big imo so i bought mine of ebay - and as soon as the promotion opened i was able to log on and get 1 week just outside Paris!!!! Going this sunday. Cant wait!! Unfortunately we will be away when the next list comes out but if i dont receive a priority code then i will do the same and buy off ebay - well worth it. For £120 we got a 2 bed 2 bath prestige mobile home with decking at La Croix Du Vieux Pont from 12-19th July. same holiday with Thomson Alfresco was £950!!!!!!!

Wow!! What a bargain! How much do priority forms go for on ebay, and is it a buy it now, or do you have to bid for them?
Also, will they start going on ebay now as people start to recieve their priority forms?

yes keep an eye on ebay, as soon as people receive the codes,there will no doubt be some on ebay!
be careful though as some sellers list the codes from the tokens,NOT the priority code,so check what you are bidding on!

The list on here gets stupidly long,and what I hate is that people register on this site purely to request a code <sigh>

I would rather give mine to someone who has been on here a while, and therefore has participated in the forums and not just grabbing !

Think it was either £15 or £20 - cant really remember. The way i see it is that was the holiday i wanted and if i weigh up what it would have cost to book with thomson then i have got an absolute bargain and right at peak holiday times in scotland!!!!! Would have no hesitation in buying from ebay again!! Just hope that they send me one of my own since i have now booked through the Sun!

Thanks for the info Rachie ,re ebay. I got a priority code last time, but I'm not sure that this set of holidays will cover the dates we are looking for even if we get one this time again. We are already going to Devon Cliffs in October, so are looking for the holidays that will cover spring of next year.
Any ideas what dates this set of hols would cover, because i know that there is another lot out in September.
BTW, couldn't agree more with you about relitively new posters asking for priority forms.
I think is really cheeky:(

I have been on these boards for 3 years and I helpped and stayed up to find the last word last time when we tried to get in the day before the last word came out. So Im not just a grabber!!!
Anyway just wanted to say I got my e-mail from The Sun today with the priorty code on it.

Hope everyone gets one too as well

Hi there. I'm sure the post about being a grabber wasn't aimed at you. I certainly never intended it to mean you when i was talking about people having the nerve asking for a code. I was referring to what seems to be a fairly large number of new or relitivly new posters who just come on to ask for a priority code, everytime these holidays come out.
I noticed it last time around as well, and on other forums too.
I didn't get a code after my first holiday- it took two, but i just had to do it the old fashioned way, applying through the post. May not get one this time either!
Anyway, glad you got yours. Anywhere particular you want to go?

I didn't mean you,but those who have zero posts and register purely to ask for a code! There are lots who do it every time they are out

we all had to start somewhere ( with the postal method) and so why doesn't everyone?!

3 years? says you registered in April 2010 ?
