dla low rate care and child tax credit

hi, my son as just been awarded low rate care dla, we get wtc and ctc my husband earns 9k a year.
will we be entilted to extra tc? if so would it be backdated? we have been entilted from march 22nd but only found out tuesday

    You will be entitled to the disability premium with CTC and it can be backdated up to 3 months. I must stress though please make sure tax credits know it is low rate DLA.

    ..........and disability living allowance is not means tested. But as correctly implied, you should declare it. If (god forbid) it should later go to Middle or Higher rate, inform them of that immediately. Middle and Higher, if you look around these forums, entitles you and yours to other benefits.
