Thanks OP! Our BT synergy 2150's have packed up - tried everything I can find on the net to fix - including a factory reset. This will fit the bill. Hope they last longer than the BT ones.

I believe that Tesco have a triple pack of cordless phones (including answering machine) for £29.99. Noticed last night that they had these in a display at the end of an aisle... don't know anything about make or model unfortunately.

We also just picked up this idect triple phone from currys in Fareham - no stock in comet. Surprisingly currys also had the silver twin pack at same price £59.99! So you get a better colour and extra handset for nothing. Bargin, thanks OP.
If anyones interested Currys also had an xbox live starter kit with 12 month subscription for £19.99.

No probs, glad to be of assistance. I went for the answerphone version too. Is worth the extra fiver just to have the cool message number display on the base unit. Good price, good phone and good looks.

Many Thanks Salt,Only decided against the initial offer because of the lack of answering machine.

These now fit the bill perfectly and have just ordered through Quidco and am a happy Islander.
