I would expect the cost to be split between the hens to be honest. The amount I've spent on my friends hen dos over the years is ridiculous. I'd quite like it if they did it for me too!0

The last hen do I went on was a weekend away with activities etc. All the hens just split the cost equally (covering the cost of the hen too)
Hopefully my lot will do this for me too! x:heart2: Got Married on 30/4/11 :heart2:

I've never heard of MOH paying, but my MOH is insisting on organising and thats fine.
To be honest, I don't expect to not have to pay either... it's my decision to do whatever I want to do and I don't mind paying for it

Pick myself up off the floor! MOH (me) Pay for the bride, i cant even afford to pay for myself, but I guess thats what happens when the other bridesmaids take over the planning!
Apparently I have been helpful enough with the wedding.Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0 -
I don't think I'm having a hen. My MOH, my sister, is in Canada, and won't be here until a few days before. With loads of other family and friends visiting then too, I don't think I can spare the time. I have one maid here, and the other three are out of the country, so going ahead without MOH isn't a great option either.
Anyhow, I've never heard of the MOH paying for bride, but suppose it differs depending on the finances of those involved!Swagbucks Amazon gift vouchers 2014 125/250

I think its more down to what has been done within your group of friends in the past? As another poster said, they've spent on other people's hen dos so it should be reciprocated. Perhaps not if you're planning on a trip to Vegas or something though!
I don't think there is a 'done' thing really, and even if there is if it doesn't suit you and your hens ignore it anyway!0 -
gosh i wouldn't expect for my hens to pay for me in a million years! If anything I'm trying to pay a bit more to bring their cost down.
