Credit Report

Hi,

I recently signed up for CreditExpert from Experian as I wanted to see my credit report. I've had some problems managing money in the past year and just wanted to see whether the report was be as bad as I thought it'd be.

Everything was satisfactory but there's something on there with Next Directory dating from Sept 09 to March 2010. It's a mail order account but I didn't set one up. So I just wanted to know if it's something that I should worry about and if so, what should I do about it.

    I have that too on mine. I have not done ANYThing about it yet either.

    Did not set one up either as I never touch catalogues.

    Does it show your name against the account or could it be someone else at your address?

    You can always write a letter to Next asking why they have put this on your credit report. If they don't give a decent account you can always appeal to experian to remove it.

    Are you sure you haven't ever had a Next store card or done one of those buy now pay later things?
