Greenhouse plastic glazing
Hi all,
I've been given a greenhouse :j the 'but' is that l would rather have polycarbonate/plastic of some sort instead of glass glazing so l don't have to worry about my 3 year old falling into it or breaking the glass with his toys.
He's not boisterous but l need it for my peace of mind, just in case....
Can you advise anywhere where you can get a kit for such a thing or would we need to buy sheets and cut it down ourselves?
TIA

B&Q do packs of glazing, you would just have to measure to see if the panes are the same size. No idea if anyone else does though. Mummy to an amazing little girl0

I used this company .. http://www.livsupplies.co.uk/ .. I recently just done my leanto greenhouse. I changed the glass roof to polycarbon as some of the sides aswell .. they even cut to size and shapes if required .. prices was good and delivery took aroun 10 days from ordering but i did have a few odd shapes to be cut ..0

how about keeping the glass but bordering it with a small fence? It'll be a cheaper (but more effort) than replacing with polycarbonate from B&Q.0

I have just re-glazed my 8x6 greenhouse using the polycarbonate glazing pack from B&Q, it is good stuff and as long as yours is 8x6 and does not have the curved pieces at the ridge on the side it will be fine0
