They've been in the top 10 UK employers 10 years running. You'll have a fantastic time.
Well done you! :T:T:T
Yes I've heard all about itnever heard of a company have such good benefits before, parties, discounts, "Ministry of Fun".
Do you think the £350 average is right?Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -

I don't know what their business is like now, but I used to average £250 a month commission based on a 20 hour week. Even when I dropped to 14 hours a week I managed between £150 and £200.
I really miss it - most fun job I ever had. :AI was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

I happen to know a bit about the Admiral offices and would strongly advise you go for it!
1. The location is amazing - just being right in the centre of Cardiff every day boosts your social activity no end! After work drinkies and lunchtime shopping are on your doorstep.
2. Yes it's a call centre, but there are 1,300 people working in that building, 1,700 people in Swansea and with a bit of work you could be promoted to any of those other jobs. It's a gateway to online management, HR, communications, IT - just choose what you want to be and work your way towards it. I know one chap who started in the call centre, trained in IT development and finally got a very senior management job on £60k+.
3. Admiral's pretty unique in its culture... you will get a lot of opportunity to make new friends, enter competitions or just play the Wii every day. I believe it's been marked as one of the top 10 places to work in the UK for 10 years running..? Something like that.
4. It's not just the wages. You already know about sales bonuses, but there are share schemes as well that really do pay out well. Someone in the call centre gets the same number of shares as the CEO. You get dividends on those shares straight away and after a few years working there they start to seriously pay out. You might start on £12k but your real take-home money, without any promotions or payrises, will go up more and more each year.

Apparently they're doing better than ever at the moment, which is odd considering the money situation just now!
I'll be working 38 hours a week so hopefully I can do well and bring home the moneyJust because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
