I too wanted to join the ranks of MSE'ers to say Thank you. Early this year I broke my leg and was pretty much house bound till a friend bought me the MSE book! And I tell you I think it should be free on the NHS! I spent my weeks recuperating reading through and changing my life for the better. I was glued. For all those people out there in hospital beds this was one of the best things for me.
My main eye opener was all the information that is out there that I never knew about and the weekly tips were fab, I went through most of the freebies.
I haven't added it all up yet. Let me think back…
I changed my mortgage and used http://www.mortgagegenie.co.uk/ (again I would have never have known)
I got a cash back credit card X2
I learnt about quidco and freefivers - brilliant
The call & flight checkers were great
The discounts board for Tesco vouchers to have my shopping delivered
Ohh I changed my elec & gas to a fixed rate before the boom in prices, went through quidco and then through to uswitch, £12 each bargain. Andmy parents.
Used the referrals board and change my current account to A%L with the help of Dagobert and got £90.
learnt about the £4.25 cinema tickets from last minute, and the Holmes place health club tip
learnt about the free photos from lumix, free makeup, won on one of the Eurostar games with free return tickets to Paris, won beauty products
umm umm, and so much more.. and I sent the tips to everyone I knew.
So Thank you again, I was meant to write and everyone in all the chat forum are ace. So Martin persuade the gov to mass purchase you book on the NHS for a better reduced stress life, giving us more pennies to do more and live longer :T :j :T
