i transferred money from my citi uk to citi usa on 4 may 2010 and until today the recipient cannot access money, so i asked them to return the money to my account, and they said they were doing security checks, and investigating. i have not received the money yet and i have phoned over 10times but to no avail, and getting no answers from india or uk. what can i do to get my money back, please need help

It does seem to be taking rather a long time.
I suggest you start Citibank's formal complaints procedure. You should find details of their procedure on their website.
The complaints procedure can be quite lengthy but, with any luck, if you start it they will resolve the matter with a bit more urgency.
If you suffer a loss because of the delay, you may be able to complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service and get compensation.
You can find some information about the FOS in the MSE Bank Charges Reclaiming page. Whilst not relevent to your specific problem, this will give you an insight into the FOS procedure.
