I applied for a Barclaycard on line recently and was told I would be notified. After 10 days I chased and was told that they had problems identifying my address (it happens!) and had therefore cancelled my application. Apparently they had been 'trying to contact me' - rubbish - I work from home - no mail, email or post....
Now they are showing as having done a credit search on me, but I can't reapply for three months (Braclaycard policy)...
Can i get them to remove their credit check??:mad::mad:

Unless they have made an error, I'm afraid not. So if they state they have tried to contact you to verify your address, (which they legally have to do as part of KYC) then I'm afraid they probably won't.Best Regards
