Repairing chip in bathroom sink?

Options
I had a new bathroom a couple of months ago. 5 weeks in the sink chipped very easily. Duravit have finally sent me a replacement for it but they wont pay to have it fitted.

As I have nothing to lose I wondered who I need to look for to try and repair it first and what sort of cost I can expect for something like this? It's not huge or deep, just a slither has come off.

I tried myself at the weekend with one of those repair kits, but the white spray to finnish was not the same white, it was easy enough to get back off,

many thanks

Acrylic basin or ceramic? If its ceramic and you bought the Cramer kit you've wasted £ 20+. Fit the replacement unit yourself - all the hard work has been done already and its really not that difficult - which Duravit one is it?

BTW you never did answer THIS question I asked you.

    Cheers

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Ceramic sink Duravit Happy D.

Refitting the sink is not a DIY job for me so will have to pay out either way. Would rather repair and keep the new one as a spare.

Shower, sorry did not see your last post. Plumber did all his bit and electrician did the electric bit. It was an Aqualisa one, location of pump was simple, plumber had done all the channelling and the electrician just had to connect.

Who on earth keeps a spare sink!! Fit the new one and have done with it.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
