Sky HD set region ?

Hi

Had new a HD box installed yesterday , as old 1 broke again . Engineer came whilst i was at work only wife in . How to i change from BBC london to BBC North West ?

It the viewing card that determines the BBC region.
You could try removing and reinserting it.

Not on a Sky receiver, it is set by the post code that is aligned to the Sky card, the card determines the regional variations.

I had this problem with one of my 2 digiboxes. I managed to fix it recently after upgrading to HD. The sky rep talked me through a re- scan of channels using the engineers interface. Sorry I can't remember the sequence but suggest you give them a call. Better still - if you have set up a web account raise an incident via that route and they will call you back (eventually). That way you won't pick up the call charges and you stand a better chance of speaking to someone who knows what they are talking about.
