    Sounds like slimfast then, might be ok if you need a short term fix.

    The sad fact is that only 2 per cent of people who follow popular diets manage to keep the weight off long term. But because everyone has had some success for a little while keeps a multiple million pound industry going.

    If your looking for a long term solution, it might be worth looking into cbt techniques.

    globally its currently worth over 100 billion a year and even the government admit dieting does not work, it has to be a permanent lifestyle change

    if your going to use over the counter meal replacements keep an eye on the sugar content, some of them are 25-40% sugar ...

    my mum has been doing this diet for about 5 weeks and has lost well over a stone. I do worry as she has a habit of 'starving' herself till she stops losing weight then going mad with the eating again. but at the momen it's working for her and that's good.
