Parking tickets

Hi

Could somebody please help me.

How often in a road or area should there be a sign warning of parking restrictions? I parked outside my daughters house just five minutes before 10 a.m. and received a ticket as there are restrictions between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. as there is a station nearby.

I have looked and looked down her road which is quite long and there is not one sign informing you of these restrictions. Do they have to be placed at certain places?

Hope this makes sense. Any help would be great

Thanks

There should be signs, about every 30m I think. Someone with better knowledge will come along soon.

We need much more information. Location, images of the PCN, images of the location.

Is this within a Controlled Parking Zone ?

    Hi

Thanks for reply. How do you know if you are in a controlled parking zone and if so where will the signs be to tell you so?.

    Thanks

There are these signs at all entry points to the zone:

Single yellow lines within the zone have the same restriction times as the sign and within the zone do not need separate timeplates

Still need information as requested in post#3
