What type of survey do I need?

We're considering buying a converted pair of 100yr old 3 storey terraced houses... converted into 3 apartments/ flats with access to the upper two floors from an external staircase. There are cellars underneath with access externally at the rear though a single door. It's in a conservation area which limits the front of the building. I think there may be evidence of damp in the cellar caused by water ingress down the external staircase down to the access door. Externally the brickwork has been re-pointed within the past 5 years and the windows and roof look solid and straight. The metal staircase access to the apartments looks in very good condition. The walls are single skin brick with roughly 4" of insulation layer on the inside. The remodelling that involved the removal of the staircases would I assume also have meant the interior walls may not be in their original places.

Asking price is £220 and there are tenants in place.

What type of survey would you recommend?
