NTL / Orchid use

My parents wish to use the 18185 service and I have just registered them; however their phone line is provided by NTL cable and the instructions for a non BT line are to dial an 11 digit number and await a voice prompt. Does this preclude the use of an Orchid dialer? Apart from getting the BT line re-instated is there any other way round this ?

Apart from manually dialling their freephone number or moving to BT for their linerental then I believe the Orchid dialler is the way to go.
Moving linerental to BT would greatley increase choice and lower prices for your parents and ultimately maybe cheaper in the long run.0 -
You could always programme the 18185 0808 freephone access number into your parents phones memory if it has one.
If they move to BT they would benefit from cheaper 18185 rates then they get using cable access,and it they could even get free geographical calls Evening and Weekend from Primus Saver 2.0
