Hi

Reading good reports on MSE about reallymoving.com I went ahead and booked a surveyor to look at a prospective purchase.

It surprised me that the search results on reallymoving are accompanied by a star rating, which don't seem to lead anywhere.

***** (rating based on 15 reviews)

So 5 stars out of 5 seems good - or is that just something a client pays the site for for obvious benefit?

Cynically yours...

  • Hi
I’m replying on behalf of reallymoving to let you know the situation, as I can see why you think lack of availability to the feedback comments might look strange. For years we have collected a scoring rating on our partners based on Value for Money and Quality of Service. These were for our own use to monitor their performance closely. Last November we decided to make the star ratings public (ie one star bad, 5 stars excellent), just to see what sort of reception this got with our users. The response has been really positive – users and our partners like the star ratings - so we are in the process of making the public’s comments viewable.

Clearly, we need to push ahead with this a bit faster! Thanks for your comments.

Ok thanks Mark for your feedback - it's always reassuring to think a company such as yours would be willing to be more upfront. I'm sure the improvement will work out favourably for you.
