Train cheapness
Hi all i need to go to the big smoke,in a week or so.I would like to some help to get some cheap fares.I will be departing form Bedford central and going to London.Only going to paddington on my arrival.Is there any loop holes for cheap fare,im not brainy enough ! oh and it has to be a return and got to be in london for 10 ish

Assuming weekday travel...
If you really need to be at Paddington by 10am, you need an Anytime Day Return to Zone U1-2 at £35.30. No restriction on time of outward or return journey.
If you can be a bit flexible on that timing, an Off Peak Day Return to Zone U1-2 costs £23.00. But the first train you can use this ticket on arrives at St.Pancras at 10am. Takes at least 20 mins from there to Paddington. You also cannot catch your return train from St.Pancras between 4:30pm and 7pm.
These tickets include the tube travel.0 -
Strangly it can often be cheaper if you buy two singles instead of a return look at the train ticket websites and have a play around with different combinations of tickets. (I speak from personal expereince)0
