Cucumber question
Hello, I am hoping someone can help me with my dilemna. I have a cucumber that is only in a shallow 4" pot and need desperately to pot it on.
My problem is this, it has decided to flower, now am I going to kill it by potting it on?
If not and it is possible to do so would I be better going up just one or two sizes?
You see I am not sure if they are like chillis and put their energy into making roots before fruiting.
Any help would be gratefull recieved.
TIA

I potted mine from a 4" to a 10" pot. It looked lost at first but soon started growing. I then planted it into the ground. It will need staking and grows quite tall.
Good luck0 -

Just pot it on, it'll be fine. You won't kill it, you'll be doing it a favour. If it's an outdoor ('ridge') type, put it in the ground. If it isn't, don't mess around, put it in a big pot now and get ready to feed it - cucumbers are hungry and thirsty plants.0 -
Thank You so much, both of you for your answers, potting on will be done now
