Royal Mail Problem

so sold a load of items on ebay beginning of last week

posted them out over the course of tuesday, wednesday, thursday - all first class recorded - so nothing has been recieved? had no complaints but using the tracking on RM website nothing is showing as being delivered

could it be the RM havent updated their systems?
could there be an issue with mail in the Herts area?

feeling quite worried - i know i have to wait 15 days just annoyed that so many parcels have gone missing

No sure what to do next think i will ring RM tomorrow

EDIT - i just have been double checking against my FB and i noticed one item that is showing not delivered that was posted on the 29/08 i have been left FB for so maybe there is an issue updating the system

I really wouldn't worry. It's likely that Royal Mail haven't updated as yet. You haven't received any complaints so they have probably been received.

Have you tried the automated phone number....?

I used the online checker and suruprised not only to see it had been delivered but the signature too!! Maybe that takes a bit more sorting out!!

I often send stuff recorded delivery. Once I sent a letter recorded delivery and kept checking whether it had been delivered online - it kept saying it hadnt - it was still saying it a fortnight later after I had had a reply to the letter! Just out of curiosity I rang them up and said could I check if it had been delivered as it wasnt showing on the system - and they said it looks like it may be lost and to give it more time. As I knew it had got there I left it at that - and kept checking but it must have slipped through the net and not got updated as it never did show as delivered!

thanx everyone am gonna wait untill people start complaining (if they do) as i think there is something odd going on with the RM website - some people i have spoken to have got their items and are still showing as undelivered - prob all stressed out overthere with the new pricing system ...lol
