Working Tax Credit

I am currently claiming working tax credit. I will be 55 in december and therefore entitled to take my personal pension - but I do not intend to start taking it until i am 65. Do I need to declare this. I am asking this because I seem to remember that on the original claim form it asked are you currently deffering taking a pension you are currently entitled to, but the question does not appear on the renewal forms.

you would not need to declare that, only when you recieve any income from the pension would you need to declare it.0

I think you are wrong. It is income you can have if you so wish so has to be declared as far as I am aware.
I remember a thread on the very same subject not long ago.
on second thoughts I think the thread was about claiming means tested benefits so i may be wrong.
Best ring them and get it from the horses mouth, so to speak.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
