July plea and a smile for the comping fairy!

Hi everyone,

From what I have seen on here, facebook and the "what have we all won in June" thread a lot of MSErs have had a great June!!

I really can't complain, my month started off very slowly and I didn't think I was going to win much at all but then I won an iPad and I still haven't quite come down again!! Hehe

So for me this isn't a whinge as such I am just putting in a little request to the wonderful comping fairy in the hope that she is listening and because at the end of May I requested an iPad on the whinge thread and it worked!!! :T
So fingers crossed it works again!! Please feel free to request, whinge and moan as well!!

Here goes:

Dear Comping Fairy,
I know you are very busy just trying to keep up with the MSE comping community but I would like to put in a request for July.
I would very, very, very much like to win a pair of tickets to Leeds festival.
My brother and I are HUGE fans of Blink 182 and they are making their UK come back this summer at Leeds.
Unfortunately when the tickets went on sale I didn't have a job and hadn't had one for 6 months! My brother was trying to give my mum as much money as he could because she wasn't getting any rent from me and was struggling greatly!! So neither of us could afford to buy the tickets, they sold out very quickly and now the only way to buy would be to pay A LOT of money on ebay or somewhere like that!
It was my brother's 30th birthday in Feb and it had been my plan for a while to really splash out on him and buy him a trip he would never forget, a trip to see the Northern Lights. Unfortunately due to not having a job and my bills eating away at my savings I couldn't do anything like this and had to settle for small, inexpensive but very thoughtful gifts.
I would love it so much if I could win these tickets for us to go and see Blink 182 at Leeds festivel, it would mean the world to him and me!
Thanks for listening to my sob story and please keep me in mind next time a Leeds Festival comp comes up!!

Please don't think I'm not grateful for every tiny thing I win I just wanted to put out there what I am really, really hoping for!!

Dont worry honey - you did not offend. Someone else would have started this thread had you not. I think the words whinging and mean are so negative, maybe it should just be called 'A smile for the Comping Fairy' lol
