Insurance Settlement, Benefits & Trust Funds

I have just been advised after many years of legal wrangling that I will be having a substantial insurance settlement shortly coming my way. I receive benefit help from the government and the insurance company has advised me to set up a trust fund to avoid the government stopping my benefit. As this settlement is to fund physiotherapy etc so I would rather it not be swallowed up on my rent as continued illness prevents me from working.
Does anyone have advice as to where the best trust funds might be and what sort of cost this incurs? My insurance company is advising me to set something up with them but the say the cost will be between £700 and £800. This seems like a lot of money. Any advice would be greatly appreciated in PMs or the forum.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0
