Lola - sorry about the loss of your pet, always hard. xx

Been to a gig tonight, folk rock kind of thing. Pretty good.

Wore a top that looked like a nightie, a faux fur gilet and jeans - very '70s I think. Or maybe '60s (all the blokes in the office were calling me Cher today and singing I Got You Babe whenever I walked by!).

    xx

Hope you're going to blog that outfit, it sounds fab :D

Oh phew. Just got home, and annoyed as my car had the warning lights on again so will have to go to the garage tomoro
    morning.
Also got home to the latest pile of surveys and they have changed the pay for the long ones to less than it's been before (60 surveys seems to take about 2.5-3hrs) and then have to upload them
to their website whihc takes a while too. Ugh. Plus they've added more to do, to make it more difficult it seems. I think I'm going to tell them
    I won't be doing them.

Urg those shoes - so glad I don't have bunions - can't imagine why you would wear them otherwise, though I am liking the 'clog' type shoes that seem to be coming into the shops at the minute.

Looks a bit grey outside today so unsure of outfit yet, DS1 has party at school tonight for families too so we take food and drink so was planning on baking but can't be bothered think I'll just go out and buy it all.

Infact think I might jst have a day 'for me' before the DS's break up and have a good old CS trip

    Hi everyone,

Just a quick question for those of you that went to the New Life shop the other day - do they do plus sizes? My friend and I want to go and have a look but she is a 22-24 so there's no point really if they don't have larger sizes.

Did you happen to notice any Evans/Inspire stock in there?

    Cheers

Oh, hmmm, let me think. There might have been some nearer the shoes but I wouldn't want to say a definite yes or no - can anyone else who's been remember? There's lots of 16-18 stuff but we were mostly hunting through the 12-14 rails. Might be worth giving them a ring to ask?

Oh, outfit. I'm dressed for the temperature (cold) and weather (yet more torrential rain) so when I walked in the office with my Regatta jacket on, dripping wet, I was greeted with "ooh you have sensible clothes on for once."

    Jeans - DP
    Royal blue vest - DP
Navy check flannel shirt - New Look
Blue teardrop earrings - Tu (I think)
Turquoise initial necklace - Sunday Girl

And sorry to bombard the thread but I've just discovered these and I think I love them. Shame the green version is weird :(

Brilliant! One of my dearest pals has got bunions so I've just forwarded that article to her. If that doesn't force her to have them sorted nothing will. :T

Well, a positively glorious start to the day and I was able to walk around the car boot field in a sleeveless frock, as soon as I got back in Ebby the rain started and man, is it torrential!

Anyway not a bad haul and I'm very excited by the news that the house clearance people have unearthed a trunk of vintage designer label 70's era frocks from which I've got first pick. Could it include the Ossie Clark of my dreams?

    Hope everyone's okay today.
    My outfit is:
Vintage green cotton spotty maxi (eBay)
Gianfranco Ferre cowboy boots (Car boot)
    Orla Keily silk scarf (Free)
Silver bangles, rupee earrings and rings (India)
1970's tan leather shoulderbag slung across the body (Jumble sale)

Off to eat veggie sausage sandwiches and to contemplate the wrapping of parcels.

    Goan

Afternoon everyone. I hope all you lovely ladies are having better weather than myself. Its rainy/muggy/insanely icky atm :(.

I have a horrible tickly cough which I'm blaming the weather for, so tbh I've not been in the mood for pretty outfits, however I have grabbed a few bargains on eBay in the last couple of days. One was a slightly impulse buy as the top is slightly 'wacky' but its was only £1.99 inc P&P. Also managed to get a gorgeous stone tshirt with lace detailing :o

I am also boycotting New Look, mainly for 2 reasons.

    1. I have no money until the 30th.
    2. Everytime I go instore someone asks me if I work there. Yesterday someone asked me to go and get them another size. :rotfl:.
