    Hi all,

Been down and back to London today for a meeting - it was absolutely boiling down there. Got the Tube - sweltering hot, v uncomfortable.

Had on smart black trousers, black vest and a beigey jacket. Worked in London for a few years way back but can't even remember what sort of stuff I wore to try to keep cool on these oppressively hot office days.

Very weird weather in Glasgow - you can go from bright blue sky to heavy grey clouds in minutes. Can't stop taking pics of the night sky - god knows what I'm going to do with them all!

Def need a hol. Anyone been to Palma in Majorca? Need somewhere to fly and flop for a week, the kind of hol where you read a book a day and the big decision is beer or wine with your meal!

    xx

I've just got back from Kos and I want another holiday already.
Not feeling very outfit inspired recently and i'm coming down ill again. :(

Got a new All Saints top from ebay & the neckline is so wide if i'm not careful it can fall down to my waist! Wore it today with leggings, grey hoody and Hunter wellies for a nice stormy day at the beach.

    Morning all

Up v early as DH woke me at 5.40 on his way to work to say Fluffy our rabbit had passed away during the night:( Goan sorry to hear about Lucy, we become so attached to these little ones don't we. So hence couldn't really go back to sleep so have been down and wrapped her in towels to take her to the vets later to do what they do with her.

Sharon - just realised after reading your post Friday will be my last day in the infant side for 7 years, as if I'm not emotional enough, if I last until Fri without being a complete wreck it will be a miracle;)

Had a massive thunderstorn last night so heopfully it will be fresher here today, I would like a hol but it just won't happen this year though do have my villa booked for Oct 2011 just need to flights ho hum only 400+ days to go then;)

At work all day no teaching so stuck in the office but on the brighter side I will have time to wander around the CS at lunch:)

Hope everyone has a good day:D
  • hurrah the rain seems to have stopped in l'pool, for now anyway! I'm missing wearing my summer shoes so I think I'm going to wear some today and put a pair of rain proof shoes in my bag just in case! Mind you when it's been cooler I've worn sandals with tights a couple of times,, I actually quite like the look :S

No idea what outfit is today, the weather has really thrown me this week clothes wise and I'm having one of those weeks where I love individual pieces but nothing seems to match :(

On a different note I went to see inception last night at the cinema, oh my gosh it's the best film I've seen for a long time, really good :)

Lola - sorry to hear about your rabbit (hug) x
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

Thanks Queenie - I wore my gladiators the other day but the ground was damp so all the rain got into them bit of a nightmare and grubby feet - yuk!!

Oh I really want to see toy story as wel", but nobody else I know seems to. Inception I've heard good things about but don't know what it's about. Really grey this morning and yet they are sending up a hot air balloon on the showground.

    ETA - today's outfit:

blue/black/purple cowl neck floral dress, oasis (via ebay)
    blACK satin cropped blazer
dark purple velvet heels, iregular choice
big blue heart ring, miss selfridge..
blue / purple loong chandelier earrings

I went to see Inception on Monday - what a great film! I spent the first 20 minutes going "huh?" but then it all clicked into place and was brilliant. Loved all the cast as well.

The sun is cracking the flags here which is surprising me after how torrential the rain was yesterday. Outfit is therefore not at all practical if it does start to rain again:

Mint green half sleeved top - DP
Blue floral skirt - I made it :D
Navy suede pumps with flower detail on toes - DP
Blue beaded cuff - random beadshop
    Opal ring - antiques shop
    Blue floral studs - Accessorize

Char - you sound very glam today :)

Queenie - I am finding I have no rainproof shoes, it's a right pain in the bum! Weather looks promising so far today though.

Lola - so sorry to hear about Fluffy *hugs*

Sarah - uck, I hate the tube at the best of times but it must be unbearable on a boiling hot day. Did you get the chance to have any fun while you were there or was it all boring work stuff?

I want a holiday. Pondering a Sept/Oct trip to Dubrovnik just because it looks so pretty :D

Ah ok, well a friend asked if i would go see Inception, so i may well do if it's worth seeing..Think I may sign up for the cinema unlimited card.
Thanks alex, I dpn't feel all that glam..I feel as though the dress is too short :(

Waterproof shoes-wise, you probably need to invest in some new (green) boots then!! :P
