Morning girls (and boy!)! Great news about the boots Alex - bargain too. Sounds like my friend got a dud when her lovely boots were ruined

Today I'm in:
- black dress with green/pink/grey pattern - Monsoon sale
- Grey chunky short-seeved cardie - Oasis sale
- black tights - Tesco? Who knows...
- Grey/silver flat pointy knee boots - Office sale
- Fossil watch, silver/green amber ring, Grandma's silver locket.

I very rarely buy clothes that aren't reduced in some way and today's a prime example.

Interesting chat about Facebook. I'm on there and go on several times a day, just in between tasks at work. But lately I've been getting so bored of people who post pics of their babies/dogs every hour and people saying 'ooh I've had chips for tea', 'I'm going for a shower' or worse, the types of 'SOME PEOPLE should know better than to stab me in the back, I'm lovely til you cross me then I'm a b!tch from hell' statuses (talk about airing your dirty laundry!). I have a lot of friends who live a long way away so it's handy to keep up with what they're up to but I keep toying with the idea of deleting everyone who I'm not actually friends with but in all honesty I'm too nosey!

yes, lovely i haven't seen the heart ones with such big bows on them, i have a pair of heart ones but they are almost worn out, so may try and find some like this

The distance thing should be a bonus. DH and I too have friends and close family living all over the world. But in all honesty...not speaking daily or weekly is often fantastic. My best friend and I have decided to return to snail mail for a bit...its much nicer. But in the main email is great for distant friends.

It reminds a little of how much the attitude towards ''round robin'' Christmas letters have changed. and although it would make Christmas card writing a LOT easier I still can't bring myself too..and if I can't face it at Christmas then I certainly can't be updating all and sundry more regularly!

lost, I think 'snail mail' is brilliant - it's how i keep up with my best friend from uni, and a lot of others, despiute the fact the majority of us do have facebook. can't stand the mundane status updates either..quite frankly, i am starting ot wonder why i ever signed up on it lol

Morning all. Feel dreadful today (the lurgy is sweeping around work) so am tucked up in bed with some hot blackcurrant and trying to work from home. Outfit is oh so trendy:

Blue and white stripy pj bottoms - Primark
Grey and white stripy pj top - DP

I still haven't worn my green and white polka dot IC heels! I think this is the problem with keeping them in their boxes - I just forget I have them.
