    Morning (just about!)

Gorgeous day, been car booting and Jon's just knocking up some veggie sausage sandwiches.

    Today's outfit:
Vintage navy long sleeved polka dot dress (Jumble sale)
    1970's skinny-fit brown leather jacket (Banardos, 1992)
Tan leather western boots (Car boot)
Silver bangles, rings and earrings (India)
Vintage tooled leather saddle bag (Salvation Army)

Looking forward to rifling through my latest haul of goodies, chilling with the papers and watching a film before hitting the town later.

    Afternoon all...

After hubby making a wonderful brekkie, I'm trapped in his office while he does some drilling or something.....

    Comfort over style today...

    Oversized black jumperdress - F+F
    Jeans - GAP
    Black boots - New rock
Pink and black scarf leopard print with sparkle - primark
Huge oversized leopard print bag - primark

can see a fun fair out of the window - will make hubby check it out with me when he's done his drilling as payment for me sitting here keeping him company!

    :)

    Afternoon all :)

Millie - hope your pony is ok! How I wish I could have horses.

I've been shopping this morning and I think I got everything on my list so I'm quite pleased. Got a gorgeous 60s green and white dress from the BHF but it doesn't fasten, woe! I'll stash it in the wardrobe until I've lost a bit more weight and then see if it fits. I have huge vintage envy going on as Mum scored the most amazing pair of vintage green leather boots for a tenner. I wish my feet were smaller!

Am spending the afternoon and evening making a pink and purple pop-pom necklace for a friend and watching the cross country from the World Equestrian Games. The BBC are complete fibbers - they said it was on the Red Button from 3pm and it turns out it's actually online from 2pm so I've missed an hour of it

    ETA - outfit!

    Black leggings - M&S
Red floral patterned jersey dress - Primark
    Black cardi - Hawkshead
    Cowboy boots - Evans

What a shame, Alex. Mind you, I think of vintage stuff as an investment, you're always going to make at least your money back on an old dress bought cheaply.
Liking the sound of your Mum's boots.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The charity shop will be glad to have the money for it and if it ends up not fitting me I can always sell it on or pass it on to someone slimmer :)

I'm definitely going back to the vintage shop the boots came from! The owner is lovely, the clothes aren't overpriced and all the boots cost £10. Can't go wrong really.

£10 was a bargain. I bet they would be more than that for plastic in Primark.

Yes, I'd rather a charity shop had my money any day of the week. Don't be too dispointed about the dress, there's something with your name on sitting right here waiting for Mr Postie on monday morning. x

    Hi everyone :)
I'm still more into fabulous underwear and tights (and now hair bows?! whattt?!!) than clothes, which is some what more expensive as I can't go charity shopping! Where do you all get your favourite underwear from? I'm trying to get it at reasonable prices; m&s bargains, lasenza sale, online outlet sales etc
Living cheap in central London :rotfl:

    Hi,

Still in dressing gown - hangover day after the pub last night!

Got a pile of magazines, Strictly and X Factor to watch and am going to order a Chinese takeaway in a bit. Bliss!

    xx
