I wish there were more car boots near me
    *sobs*
I did find some good charity shops near the hospital so when I'm back up there to visit a friend then I shall investigate.

I picked up some trousers in new look today,

except they rang up at £8 :)
  • oo they're nice, daisy :) for someone who doesn't "do" trousers thats rly good haha!

i dont get much in the way of car boots either, but i did spot a poster advertising a table top sale on sunday morning, on my way to work this morning - may check that out on my way to meet the family for sunday lunch! :D
  • I'm not sure I could handle not working, being entirely up to me how I spent my days I'd prob get even less done around the house than I do now!
I think I need the stress and pressure to be productive!

Ha, i really get quite a lot done and mostly have productive days, but i like to take a bit of time out, i suppose i like choosing what i do. I worked in a very busy and stressfull job for a long time, it got to me in the end and i hated not being there for the kids plays and stuff. It got me down. My days are usually kept busy with running around after the kids and honestly don't know how i fitted work in:p The only thing i miss is my salary;)

Trousers are lovely DB!! Off to catch up on blogland:D

  • Hiya everyone, hope you are all well. Glad to see you back Daisy! Enjoy your first social.

The Aussie's working away seems to be not letting up. At the moment he's in Venice, without me. The cheek! So I treated myself to a ticket to see Stephen Fry last night, went on my own and it was absolutely marvellous. I'm going to go to another crafty thing on my own this evening as well, I don't know what has come over me but it is making me much happier than being stuck in on my tod all the time :)

    Outfit yesterday:
a kind of white vintage tennis dress with a blue and grey top (I have taken photos, they will end up in the usual place at some point this week)
purple round neck cardigan (Jeffrey Rodgers - bought when I was doing my GCSEs!)
    tan mary janes
    Usual rings and stuff

    Today:
Black and white striped long sleeved t shirt (Dotty P)
Olive green pencil suedette pencil skirt (local hospice shop)

Rainy I'm really jealous of your crafty things, you're so lucky living in London. Here in the Midlands the only hobbies women around here seem to have are boozing (me) and breeding (definately not me).

I've started the day with the workout and it's taken me an age to book my train tickets online for London on saturday. My parcels are wrapped and I'm all set for a morning of photographing and listing and an afternoon of revamping and altering (accompanied by a Jimi Hendrix soundtrack to commemorate 40 years since his death).

    Today's outfit:
Vintage psychedelic maxi skirt (vintage fair)
Green top with huge statement sleeves (Car boot sale)
    Tan leather platform ankle boots
    Vintage Channel Islands pottery pendant
