I think i need a challenge setting to get me back into my blog..

Definately Char, I've missed your blog.

Can't you wear every single pair of shoes you own, day by day, until you run out of pairs? That should keep you going for a while.

Or how about dressing in the style of cool female icons for 2 weeks?

Can I ask what you'll be doing?

Goan, I'm loving your fashion through the ages, especially with all the interesting info. I liked you in the Sixties outfit best.
  • Vix that has made my day, later i am going to search through the box set and find out what items were!! Series 3 is the saddest, most brilliant yet, i think both of those shows were genius!!

ooooo am all in a flurry now,

I prefered Life On Mars because I've had a huge thing for John Simm for years (plus it's 1970's fashion and music).

I think Alex wears the jumpsuit at a nightclub. I was drunk when I watched it and kept squealing at the screen in an irritating manner!

Don't blame you I think I would be the same.

Pirate - different pair of shoes a day is a great idea - how long would it keep going for???;)

Just back from an exciting trip to supermarket as apparantly there was 'no food' in the house mmmm thats what happens when 3 men/ boys fend for themselves for two and a half days:p

I think it's really exiciting too !! :) Is it stuff you have worn yourself, could that make part of the blog entry, as a kind of comparision?

I'm pondering a challenge but a) I've used up all my brainpower suggesting Vix's century challenge and b) I don't have enough clothes to manage.

Your Century of Style challenge was inspired, Alex. For you, I'd like to see you incorporate an item of second hand clothing into each outfit for a fortnight. You're so good at finding stuff at boot sales and charity shops and it'd be a great way of inspiring others.

Hands off John Simm, he's mine:rotfl: I loved him too. Fell in love with him when he was in 'the Lakes' (even if he did have a dodgy scouse accent) Me and dh ('cos we are sad like that) often discuss if the ending was always the case with life on mars and it was true all along. If you didn't watch series 3 you havn't got a clue what i am on about!

I remember the jumpsuit and definetly the jacket, going to search for the boots, how exciting is it to know (well virtually anyway) someone who was the source of the clothes ashes to ashes.

Sharron, check out a blog called Fashion's Most Wanted. Really nice eclectic mix of stuff and her partner is best mates with John Simm - she did a festival post featuring him not so long ago :)

Ooh Vix, I might just do that. Am I allowed to fudge it with second hand accessories? I'll just carry lots of my lovely books around with me :D
