    Vix- the eighties are one of my faves, why not try looking at ashes to ashes for inspiration??

    There was a batwing leather jacket, some off-white leather slouch boots and a jumpsuit....the jumpsuit and the leather jacket were both worn by Alex Drake in the first series of Ashes to Ashes and the boots were worn by her in the second series.
    Shamefully, I haven't seen series three yet.

    I've just sent a parcel of 5 x 1980's !!!!!bow dresses to BBC Scotland, not sure what that's for.

    They just tend to randomly search. I used to sell direct to the BBC costume department many years ago but budgets aren't as big these days.

    I think it's really exiciting too !! :) Is it stuff you have worn yourself, could that make part of the blog entry, as a kind of comparision?
