Cancelling Tiscali/TalkTalk

Can anyone pass on their experiences.. I've got a phoneline, tv and adsl through what was tiscali and is now talktalk (I was originally a homechoice customer back in the day!).. we're about to move in the next couple of months and I need to be sure of the process.. I've called them today and was told 24 hours notice.. which seems.. well.. not right...

Can anyone confirm that this is correct? I've been through the website but seem to get stuck in a loop..

Also - as the line's with tiscali - is the next tenant likely to have problems getting it back to BT?

Thanks in advance

My advice is good luck and get confirmation of the cancellation in writing somehow.
Talktalk regularly continue to bill previous customers after they have "cancelled" the service.
I should know - they billed me for last month even though Sky took my line over in May. I cancelled the Direct Debit so no money left my account and I received a letter yesterday informing me that Talktalk will be disconnecting me if I do not pay within 10 days. I don't know how they are going to disconnect a service they currently do not provide but I am looking forward to seeing them try LOL
