Amazon marketplace problem

I know this is an ebay forum but I hoped someone could help me, as i'm sure this is a common problem for ebayers too.
I bought a DVD from amazon marketplace and the seller only put a first class stamp on it, so I had an insufficient postage card put through my door, and had to pay £1.10 at the delivery office.
Would I be right to contact the seller and then lodge a complaint if they don't refund me? I know its only £1.10, but I don't think it's fair.
Incidently, I paid £1.21 for p&p.
Thanks in advance.

I sell on Amazon and always take packages to the Post office to be weighed and properly stamped. The seller should definitely refund you - have you asked? You paid for postage when you purchased - you shouldn't have to pay again!
Depending on the size of DVD they can cost from 81p second class for a single in a normal slim case.0 -
I had this happen to me before and the seller apologised and refunded no problems at all.No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
Just send the seller a nice message and hopfully he should give you the £1.100

I've messaged them and they refunded me straight away. I was just embarrassed to ask for £1.10, as it seemed a bit petty.
Thank you all for your advice.0
