No bar code on there. Assume it's fine to leave the council name on there.

Yes, we need to know who the Council is because their tickets may have been shown as flawed on other forums. We can search by Council name & find info.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would appreciate visibility of this ticket, remove your personal details and the 'PCN number' and any barcode.

By all means send it via PM if you prefer.

The name of the purported council would be be most useful in the meantime.

There is no "PCN" number - it's not called PCN or anything. just "standard charge"

Ok, this is a genuine ticket. Telford do not operate Decriminalised Parking Enforcement.

Had the P&D ticket expired? If so, better to pay the reduced fee.

The only other possibility is to check that the Off-Street Parking Order for that car park is lawful

No idea about the P+D ticket i'm afraid, but will let my friend knwo that it is genuine.
Thank you all, just thought it would be best to check with people who knew first as I know there are so many scams around.

Just so as you know, if the fee is not paid within 28days (14 for reduced fee), he will receive a summons to the Magistrates Court, which could result in an even higher fine.
