Damn, I got caught out by one of these in Kilburn years ago. They used a closed-down shoe shop or something, and people were only eligible if they bought a "ticket" - a pen set for £4 (probably cost 99p).
I went away with a set of knives for £9, which weren't all that bad actually. Too bad I couldn't use them on the [expletive deleted]s.0 -
there is a website operating in the us called https://www.woot.com - they have some really cheap deals and from time to time you can buy a "bag of crap" thats honestly what they call it for $1 + $5 shipping - sometimes woot.com substitute "a bag of crap" for a 61" HDTV so there is an incentive to buy - check the forums - its a strange idea but seems successful.
edit: I don't think they ship to the UK0
