    Crash the front......

No, are sure the paint work doesn't just require a full deep polish?

Surely they have paint matched it and therefore with a proper buff it will come up the same? If not the paint match must be wrong?

Classic reason for having a favoured body shop and using it even if your insurer wants you to use their pet Co. May mean you lose the coutesy car but many independants are aware of that and so make their own available to remain competitive.

At least that way you stand a chance of a skilled tradesman rather that whatever these bigger outfits employ

As said either not blended in or incorrect match due to age etc. A quality outfit are used to this and can get round it.

    Kick !!! time. ;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

I once had a Nissan Primera and had a bit of a scuffle with a lorry on the motorway. Every panel needed respraying apart from the bonnet and a front wing. The colour match was ok but the whole car had a mirror finish apart from the original panels which stood out like a sore thumb. The lorry's insurance refused to respray the remaining 2 panels so I paid about £100 to get them 'blown over'. I presume this just means a quick spray over, but it looked fantastic afterwards.

And again thats absolutely crazy from a painters perspective, extra blending in, extra masking etc, with the risk of colour mis match???

It is actually more cost effective and less risky to paint the lot :rotfl:
