Are there any signs of fine (very!) spider webbing on the growth? Red spider mite can be a problem in this dry and hot weather.
The mites are very small and are difficult to spot so the fine cobwebs are the easiest thing to spot if it is the case.
Also you can try and see them if you put some white paper under a few of the branches and tap , if you see tiny red/rust spots on the paper, your Buddlia is infected.
Spray with an insecticide - systemic preferably.Greyer by the minute - Older by the hour - Wiser by the day0 -
Ok brilliant ta. Will go and look at it now and maybe spray it anyway, I have some bug zapper.
