Tried clicking on it- Nothing
Right clicking,1. comes up with open, click it nothing happens
2. create shortcut- nothing else


If that is not the way to do it, give us a clue.

I have uninstalled Kapersky, but when i go to reinstall avira it tells me it has to uninstall Avira GMBH product first. I go through what it tells me to do & it then says it will reboot, but it dose'nt. If i reboot it myself it goes back to the start & tells me it needs to unistall Avira GMBH roduct. So just going round in a circle at the moment.

Can't get it to delete avira from the control panel

From the control panel? Im lost. Youve tried using the program yes? (Nothing what so ever to do with the control panel)

Yes have tried using program. There is no avira on my pc for revo to remove.
If you go back a few posts ie 1, 7,11,&13. According to The Grandmaster i was running avira together with Kapersky, the only Avira i have on my PC is the Icon in the control box & what was picked up in my hijack log(page 1)
The Grandmaster told me to uninstall it from the control box & this is what i thought i was attempting to do. I'm as confused as you now.

So to confirm:
Avira doesn't get uninstalled via the control panel nor through the program Revo Unistaller (which you have to install, open etc)?

(and alienRIK knows what he's talking about - much more than me, so you can have faith in what he says!)
