I need a cheap and reliable car service

Options
Hi, I have an 18 year old Toyota Corolla that is running well and has just sailed though its MOT and I'd like to get it serviced. I wonder if anyone can suggest a good garage that can give me a cheap, reliable and honest service.

Agree with LeeUK although there are good and bad ones. See if anyone local can recommend a place to you. Also definitely don't bother with the dealers, they won't have "seen one of those in ages". They won't have a clue what they're doing and will be struggling to read through the archives if all those manuals haven't already been put in the skip.

I would also recommend considering DIY. Get hold of a Haynes manual and look on Toyota forums for hints and tips on how to do things. If you don't mind using your time, getting your hands dirty and trying new things it has to be the most cost effective method of maintaining a car.
