How do I report a board guide - is there any point?

I have taken great exception to a board guide on MSE who now seems to go out of their way in taking complete control of a sub forum. They wield their moderation powers far to quickly and without thought, locking, moving and deleting at will.
I shall not name them, other than to say it's actually not one i've crossed swords with myself though I do get fed up of the way they seem to rule their board and find threads i read concatenated into others or deleted/moved a couple of days later.
Is there any use reporting them though - the BGs here seemingly can do no wrong. They all work "incredibly hard" for no reward - this seems to give them lifetime immunity against criticism by wheeling out the volunteer argument. I'm getting a bit fed up of it and wonder if there shouldn't be a bit of a refresh of certain forums and get some fresh blood in to break up the cliques and gangs.

IF YOU'RE UNHAPPY WITH SOMETHING A BOARD GUIDE'S DONE
Please remember the Board Guides are just ordinary forum users who've volunteered to help out the site and are doing what the MSE Team has asked them to do. They do an excellent job of keeping the forum wheels turning, but are not paid. They are not responsible for the site and have no say in policy decisions.
If you've a question about a Board Guide's choices, first read the site's Terms and Conditions and these Forum Rule FAQs. If you're still unsure why they did something or you feel the Forum Team should be aware, please report to abuse@moneysavingexpert.com. Don't question a Board Guide on the forum or it will be removed.

The above is the correct advice to follow.
The abuse team is not the board guides, and as such they will deal with any comments you have about them. The forum is not a place to discuss this matter and MSE Martin will surely close this topic.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
All the information you need to make any report to the abuse team (who are separate from the board guides) is in this thread. It is not appropriate to discuss it on the forum itself.Former MSE team member0
