hi there
can anyone help me. i am having trouble setting up my Belkin Wireless N Router. I Have connected the router to my Main Computer which is situated downstairs but i want to use the Wireless N Usb Adapter on my XP SP2 Computer Upstairs. The XP computer picks up a signal and i have input the WEP Key. When I click connect its says Waiting For The Network. which takes ages then goes off.

Sounds like you're putting the key in wrong.
Also, ditch WEP and go for WPA. Anyone with a little knowledge could hack WEP in minutes. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
Thanks for the reply.
changed the router settings to WPA-PSK
with encryption tkip+aes.
tried connecting to wireless network and it still says waiting for the network0 -

What are you using to connect, the usb adapter's own connection manager or the windows one? Ditch the adapter's one if that's what you're using, I've yet to see one that is much cop. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0
