I got an email today, i've got seventy seven pounds worth. I usually wait until Christmas and get goodies from Sainsbury's.

I didn't know you could spend them in Amazon, how does that work ?

You can change them into an Amazon Gift Certificate through Nectar.com but only in £20 amounts.

You can exchange from as little as 500 nectar points for a £2.50 amazon gift certificate on Nectar.com now.

I never accumulate enough to make a difference, although I am now trying to save them for DH's 50'th birthday present early next years as I noticed you can use them on Virgin Experiences. But at the moment I only have 528 points - just redeemed £20.00 worth on Amazon on some books :)

Not true. When is the last time you've been on Nectar.com?
Lots of things changed since this was the case... Have a look at the new rewards, you might be pleasantly suprised.

Its only been a couple of months I'm sure, I've been on since they made a big thing about changing things as I thought I would change my points over but I couldn't because I only had 1000.

I've looked just now and TBH the offers are still rubbish, the only good is the removal of the restriction on Amazon vouchers.

I have just over 12,000 - I am saving them up to put towards an Ipod Touch at Argos.

Thing is with reward cards once they start piling up like this I then really hate spending them as seeing it go back down to hardly anything after it's taken me so long to build up annoys me :p

I have 5000 and thats it with Nectar, i have several times linked through the Nectar site and purchsed items and no points gained. The last time was about 5 weeks ago for a Imac pc for £800+ , nothing awarded. Yes i have "cookies" enabled and contacting Nectar is useless with no way of enquiring like Quidco.

Same with me, I don't bother going through the Nectar site.
I was told that if you go through the Nectar site to buy from Amazon.co.uk, then don't have anything in your basket, for
some reason it doesn't track. Pain in the neck :D
