I have 10,000 worth £50, you might as well use them against purchases at Sainsburys, I'm going to do that soonFiliss0

You win! I have about 4000. I use them for food when I have no money left after poor budgeting or I have an unexpectedly huge utility bill, one of which normally happens every 3 or 4 months. Don't think I'd ever get to 40000, 4000 is good for me!0

I just spent 2500 towards a new mower in argos.
I don't spend much in there now as a new waitrose has opened up and they have better reduced to clear.
And I have raised beds so growing some of my own veggies.

Well my OH has obviously managed to collect them somewhere along the years before i arrived in his life, i went shopping to sainsburys to get him some beer the other week and took his nectar card, well i nearly fell over when i looked at the reciept.... 268000, apparantly he said he doesn't have a clue what they are used for and just gives them his card and collects them...LOL.
Mind you as i don't normally shop there i have not got a clue how much they are worth or where they can be used for either.LOL0 -

Only 58 now

Did have almost 17,000 but used them on Saturday to buy a new bbq from Homebase for hubby. They didn't have any of the model we wanted in stock so they reduced the store display model by £40 pounds, we had a voucher for £10, used our nectar points and that paid for it. Took it straight home and started using it (probably good job as would have taken us hours to put together). :jRare Disease Day28 February 2013 is Rare Disease Day.Raise awareness for patients, families and carers whose lives are affected by rare diseases worldwideUnited we are stronger0 -
I've got about 8000 I think. I didn't realise you could use them in Argos - can you collect them or only redeem there?
Last Christmas (as Wham once said) they were offering to take your points off your shopping, so I did and got about 40£ off my shop. Since then I 've been saving them up again. I always shop in Sainsburys, I prefer it and it's nearer to me than Tesco, BUT I do think that clubcard points are more lucrative. You can quadruple them on some things. Nectar doesn't seem as good - but that come be me not knowing all the benefits. I wanted to get some London eye tickets and I needed 6£ of clubcard, but with Nectar it seemed more. Hence, I do the occasional big online Tesco spend to get a few points there.0
