I dont think you are in such a good position as you think to 'shaft' your landlord.
I think as others pointed out.. if you go in with a ridiculous offer (in his eyes) you will find yourself booted out just for his personal satisaction.
What i dont get if he owes arreears on a 33k mortgage... your rent must've been covering that easily!... so why is he down on the payments..
and if its get repossessed you'd be kicekd out and have to compete with others wanting a bargain.0 -
We have to move out anyway. Not because we've been given notice but simply because of the court case. If the place gets repossessed we could have people at the door giving us ten minutes to collect as many of our things as possible.
Umm, don't you have to comply with your lease? When does that expire? How much notice do you have to give? Otherwise, if he wakes up and starts acting, he can sue you for damages.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
