Is this the poshest "Abandoned" car ever ?
I worked in a private road in St Johns Wood in London today, if your not aware of St Johns Wood it is a very exclusive area.
We were highly amused to see an "Abandoned" Bentley in the road resplendent with a flat tyre, no tax and rotting windscreen frame.

My sister used to work in Macau a few years ago and she took a picture of an abandoned Lamborghini. The dust on it was really thick and it was just left to decay. The man without a signature.0

Ow I was hoping for a pic! If you were my father you would have been on the phone to the local council by now wanting to rescue it haha.0

I'm sure I remember posts on here that it's okay to take an abandoned car, send off for the V5 and if the original owner does not object (unlikely as the car is abandoned) all you need to do is sort out a key/the locks and you're away. It can't be considered theft as there is no complainant, and if someone does complain you hand it back in better condition than they left it and so are not intending to permanently deprive them of their property.0

Back in the 70's and 80's there was a house in Didsbury with two Armstrong Siddelleys decaying on the drive. Shame. Fine cars but way too far gone to save. One day they just disappeared. Ruabon Road IIRC.0

Abandoned, or stolen?
It could be that the driver passed away, and the glue holding the tax disc in deteriorated with the heat and so the car was left to rot...Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0 -
