What RAM should I buy?

    Sorry, I omitted to mention that the motherboard is Asus M2V with AMD AM2 3800+ Dual Core Athlon and I have 4 slots. The RAM is listed as M2U51264TU88A0F-3C DDR2 PC667. I've just hunted through everything I got when I bought it.

    Richie, I don't have the time to use what you've posted, but I should be able to tomorrow.

    adaadat - a Norwegian word for "human sacrifices to the devil", and a really really yes really rubbish music label in the early 80's

    The memory came in two flavours, Nanya and a company called Elixir, both memories were the same design, and were at the time on MOBO makers QVL's so both should be interchangeable.

    I would also recommend crucial, Their scanner facility is very good although yes you should double check if you can, I also found them the cheapest for the memory that I needed which was a good brand. I've used them on about 3 separate occassions and never had a problem or felt that i'd been ripped off.
