I'd trust this one from the official website - £276.13...
But a mere £150 from Amazon.

(To be quite honest, I didn't think Word Perfect still existed!)

I have to admit that I suspected it might not be available free yet!

I had to get my OH to repeat what he said when he told me what a colleague was after - may have to try to convert him to open office!!

I still use [can not - will not] change, been through all the flavours from 5.1 DOS only and 6.0 which was a DOS-GUI, to the present X4 version although I know the X5 is out.

At the time dBASE III was a common tool in business, I found that 99% of what the company needed at the time could be done with WordPerfect saving a fortune on dBASE costs and the costs of staff training in dBASE. It was so successful I had to argue for a substantial rise in salary for the operators to stop them being poached by other organisations.

To this day WordPerfect can still provide a good level of spreadsheet DATA operations seamlessly from within the wordprocessor with no need to buy extra add on packages.

I still have a WordPerfect keyboard in the junk corner in the garage which had the DOS specific function keys that were inherited from the WordStar days, you can use that keyboard to jack the car up with or lever big boulders out of the garden.

    :D
