Ordered a bunch of stuff on Saturday from the John Lewis sale online - selected the free delivery and was advised of delivery within 5 days. Sunday - get an email saying it's been sent, Monday morning it arrives by courier. Well packed and everything there. That's what I call speedy delivery..... Not many retailers who exceed expectations like this these days.

I ordered a few items from Tesco Direct recently - similar sort of solid service including text messages saying when they'd arrive. Legal team on standby0 -
I always find John Lewis very fast as well. I had problems with Tesco Direct because they used Home Delivery Network, a firm who don't know their !!!! from their elbow.
I ordered something from Asda Direct one Thursday afternoon, and it was in my shop for me to pick up on the Friday evening.0 -
John Lewis are excellent for TV's , give 5 years cover and when ours couldn't be fixed got a new one . no problems0
