Cheap coolant / anti freeze ???

Options
Was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere that does cheap anti freeze / coolant

i made the mistake of buying a freelander, and it drinks the stuff - I am aware of the HG issues, so wantto keep it topped up at all costs !

Cheapest i am aware of is wilkos, but i wouldnt mind buying it in more that a 1 litre quantity as I know i will get through it quickly enough

any ideas ???

It should not use any unless you have a leak which is usually curtains for that engine.Check all the hoses then put the recommended coolant in and check the level weekly.

if its drinking the stuff then you have problems...a leak or the headgasket

antifreeze..should be able to find 5ltrs for £10 or so in garages or a motorfactor , make sure its not ready diluted for best value

Get it looked at straight away. I assume it is a 1.8 petrol. From what I remember these engines don't have a lot of coolant and so even a small loss can be very bad news. I would budget for a Head Gasket assuming you can't actually see a leak.

If its not worth fixing stick some bars leaks or radweld in it. Cheaper than keep buying antifreeze.
